The events of Sinister 2 (2015) revolve around a mother named Courtney who flees with her twin sons from her abusive husband, and takes refuge in a rural house unaware that it is linked to the Bughuul curse. There, her son Dylan starts seeing ghost children who show him terrifying films of murders that previously happened to families, while a former sheriff’s deputy tries to uncover the secret of the curse and stop it. But over time, the spirits’ attention shifts to his brother Zach, and the events take a terrifying turn in a race to save the family before they too fall victim to the curse.
