Four years after the events of Curse of Chucky, Nica Pierce is still confined in a psychiatric hospital after being accused of committing a series of murders carried out by Chucky. While she tries to convince everyone of her innocence, the killer doll returns to spread terror inside the hospital, exploiting the suspicions of doctors and patients to conceal its crimes. At the same time, Andy Barclay, Chucky’s old enemy, returns determined to end this confrontation once and for all, while Tiffany continues to stand by Chucky and help him carry out his bloody plans.

Cult of Chucky is the seventh installment in the Child’s Play series, following the events of Curse of Chucky released in 2013. The series began in 1988 and continued through several sequels until this film, with the story later continuing in the Chucky TV series, while Child’s Play was released in 2019 as a standalone remake not connected to the original story.
