In 2007, Quinn Brenner was still grieving the death of her mother, so she tried to contact her spirit with the help of Elise Rainier, but Elise warned her after feeling the presence of an evil entity watching her. Quinn then had an accident that broke her legs, and from that time she began seeing a terrifying spirit known as “The Man Who Can’t Breathe,” which began to haunt her inside her home and try to take control of her. Her father Sean tried to help her and sought Elise’s help again, who was forced to confront her old fear and enter “The Further” to save her. There she discovered that the evil entity was exploiting Quinn’s grief to pull her into the dark world, but with the help of her mother’s spirit and her ability to fight back, Quinn was able to defeat it and escape. In the end, Elise returned to working with Specs and Tucker in confronting supernatural phenomena.
